About
Kerry Costello was born in England, of Irish heritage — and as any Irishman will tell you,
storytelling is in the blood.
After building and selling a series of successful travel businesses over three decades, Kerry
traded boardrooms for laptops and set out to do what he’d always wanted: write gripping
crime thrillers that keep readers up well past midnight.
Inspired by the giants of the genre — Raymond Chandler, Harlan Coben, James Lee Burke,
and Carl Hiaasen — Kerry brings the same sun-drenched atmosphere, larger-than-life
characters, and razor-sharp plotting to his own fiction. His home in Naples, Florida, provides
an endless well of inspiration. “The people you meet almost daily in Florida,” he says,
“provide a rich seam of material for any writer.”
His debut thriller You Owe Me introduced readers to Frankie Armstrong — a battle-hardened
British ex-soldier with a debt to repay and a talent for finding trouble in all the wrong places.
The Frankie Armstrong series now spans five books, each set against the vivid backdrop of
Florida’s sun-soaked coast and dark criminal underworld.
When he’s not writing, Kerry can be found fishing, cooking, or travelling the world with his
wife Lyn.
Start the series with You Owe Me — and see why readers say they simply couldn’t put
it down.
